Sometimes a sweeps will ask for a product UPC (Universal Product Code, basically, a bar code number). Instead of buying the product or rushing out to the store, why not put the internet to work? Check out the UPC Database.
This website organizes products by type and manufacturer and has several sizes/varieties of products with different UPCs. It is completely free and is frequently updated with thousands of UPC codes.
The only drawback may be if a company has a specially-marked package for the contest with a different UPC than is provided on the database.
How to maximize your sweep entries
There are literally thousands of sweepstakes contests on the internet. Sometimes you can win a "one-entry" sweeps even if you don't enter until the very last hour. But to win a daily sweeps, you need to enter early and OFTEN. How can you find them as soon as they come out in order to maximize your entries? I strongly recommend joining up with a sweeps group. There are several out there that you can find just by Googling "sweepstakes database".

They organize sweepstakes by categories such as one-entry, daily entry, 24-hour entry, etc. For the most part I have found them to have the newest sweeps up within 48-72 hours after they open. They also have an "Expiring Soon" category, which I have found to be a great way to go through and hit up all the one-entry sweeps before they close.
